BLAST search seems to be taking longer than it used to

For example, this search NASTRFTDGSQFGFGAEIGISTQKLHARGPMGLEQLTTIKYQIIGNGQVR
used to be 3 mins for Eser and now it is much longer.

We recently expanded the number of nodes that BLAST is deployed on which should have made this faster.

@eseabolt would you mind taking a look to see what could be going on?

If you submit a protein sequence for search and select the nucleotide database, the search will take a long time. I assume this is do to BLAST needing to examine all sequences in our nucleotide DB which is quite large. To resolve, make sure the correct DB is selected for the type of search sequence you are using. We are looking at a general fix for this to improve the experience.

Overall it is much faster now -
Also we added checks to validate user input sequence to selected db to reduce mistakes.
